I am a mixed Malaysian-Chinese poet and printer who's motivated by community development through artistic collaboration. I'm based in the Bay Area where I engage with the local print scenes (from zines to fine press) and works for the CODEX Foundation. Since my introduction to book-arts, I’ve been enamored with printing’s demands of my attention from the level of the pica or single point, to the scale of room-filling industrial machinery.

My approach to printing balances both the invisible but intricate technical printing of handset type, and expressive looser hand inking and pressure printing. The combination of effects is meant to foreground the text of the experimental poetry while expressing the subjective experience that the writing is meant to convey.
