I use and juxtapose isolated historical images to develop an alternate consideration of mass-media image construction and dissemination. My work, in both process and summation, considers history as a series of superimpositions and overlays. I believe that my approach to collage functions as a type of interactive media archeology wherein the process of searching for and combining these isolated historical images itself helps to develop a less linear understanding of image-making history.
