Brett Taylor is a print media artist based in Virginia whose work explores how the (dis)abled body meets the built world. Using an autotheoretical approach that blends personal narrative with disability studies, he creates prints, collages, and installations that reflect the body’s shifting, adaptive nature. His work critiques ableism while celebrating disability culture. Taylor is Head of Printmaking and Expanded Media at James Madison University and President of MAPC (2024–2026).
