Crossroads Prison Art Project
MessageThe Crossroads Prison Art Project seeks to raise awareness among those who may have never considered that incarcerated men and women are creative individuals made in the image of God. By sharing their artwork and personal stories, the project highlights the redemptive and transformative power of Crossroads Bible studies combined with artistic expression.
Sharing artwork is a platform for incarcerated students to discover purpose, healing, and personal growth through creativity. In an environment often marked by despair, it allows them to create and share hope. It also allows them to advocate for Crossroads Prison Ministries in gratitude for the impact of the lessons and mentoring they’ve received. Ultimately, the project gives a voice to the voiceless and allows supporters to see themselves as champions of dignity, restoration, and God-given potential.
With the recent approval of the Crossroads Prison Ministries Board of Directors, student artwork will now be available for purchase. This initiative creates a meaningful opportunity for incarcerated artists to share their work with the world while also supporting Crossroads programs through the proceeds raised. It’s a powerful way to participate in the cycle of transformation, both for the artist and for the ministries reaching behind prison walls.
