Created in professional watercolour paints on 300gsm premium cotton watercolour paper, this painting depicts two Carnaby's Black Cockatoos in a Firewood Banksia tree. Both the plant and the birds are endemic to Western Australia and the region where I live. This unique species of black cockatoo is endangered, and being passionate about their preservation, I promote their story, grow food tree species and host artificial breeding tubes to support their populations.
