Rainbow Lorikeets are native Australian birds, but not endemic to the West coast where they are generally regarded as pests. Regardless of this, they are quite captivating birds, who are loud and have large personalities. I once had one as a pet!
This painting travelled to Vietnam in 2024 to represent Australia at the Vietnam in Aquarello Exhibition in Hanoi.
