All pieces of the Chicxulub series from 2017 to 2021 Generative Art created by the response of the artist liquid paint on a horizontal surface. I create small but highly detailed paintings using fluid acrylics. These paintings are scanned on an Epson V600 scanner at a resolution of up to 6400 DPI. Due to the density and unique mixing of the fluid acrylic paints, the resolution of these scans captures an incredible amount of detail, resulting in file sizes of 1–2 GB per image.
