Lost in the woods

Etching, plate size 25x25cm, paper size 30x30cm. Edition of 10.
Very happy with this etching that looks like a fairytale illustration. The little boy is one of my sons at about three years old, the 'wolf' is our new German shepherd dog. And then I realised what an utterly strange thing it is to take an animal like this into your home and trust it with your children. Most dogs still have a lot of their wolf ancestors in them after all.
