I paint what I see, from life. My work is loose and realistic . Subjects are close to me and my farm; people around me, animals and Dutch landscapes.
Message
These happy three live close to us, “guarding” the property. Trespassers will be slobbered to death. I started out much more detailed than this, hated it and simplified a lot when painting over it. I unified the whole black dog mountain, took away all the details in the ground and used much bigger brushes to repaint the dogs.
