The metaphors of growth and fruitfulness have been important to me for many years, and the opportunity to explore the 7 of Pentacles fits with my current process of re-evaluating my life’s direction. The five sided flower seemed an apt extension of the Pentacle, and we see the flower come to different stages of fruiting. My rendition of the gardener quotes a renaissance painting in which Mary Magdalene mistakes the risen Jesus for a gardener.
