Phil Irish extends his painting practice into collage, installation, photography and video. Across Canada, public, artist-run, and commercial galleries have featured his work. The Kolaj Institute presented his architecturally scaled installation. His work was selected for the Quebec City Biennial and the Kingston Portrait Prize Exhibition. He has developed new work at residencies in Banff and Vermont.  In 2017, he visited Baffin Island with CanadaC3, and in 2023 explored Svalbard with The Arctic Circle residency. He is Associate Professor at Redeemer University in Hamilton, Ontario.
