Sometimes, explaining too much can take away from the essence of a situation. The same goes for paintings—too many words can overshadow the artwork, diluting the raw, direct experience it offers. So, the inspiration for this work was the beauty of the painting process itself, revealing secrets, covering them up again, playing around and not having any message to convey.
