Statement
Walking the water’s edge. I paint from the remembered landscape I carry around. Drawing from fragments of nature and pieces of foreshores. Painting colour layers of landscape through to the waters surface. Oil painting on linen carefully layered with brushes and palette knives. That becomes transformed into an emotional and expressive abstract landscape style.
