Her work has been selected for the upcoming New York Special Edition of L’Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea 2026.
Born and raised in Lebanon in a multilingual and multicultural environment, Patricia left her war-torn country in the 90s. Using her love of languages, she embraced the beauty of the multiple cultures she encountered whilst living in Italy, France, the UK, and USA, all deeply enriching her artistic sensibility.
Moving to Dallas, Texas, in late 2006, prompted her to reconnect with her passion for art and fulfill her childhood dream.
Through abstract painting, Patricia found the freedom to express herself using textured paint and a palette knife, and intuitively project onto canvas her emotional reflections, bridging her past and present with continued self-discovery.
She currently works with oils and acrylics and loves experimenting with new forms of media to create texture.
Statement
I tend to mix grounded experience with fantasy, relying on the contours of my journey to add layers and textures, blending deep blue memories, orange hopes, violet dreams, and red passion for life. My art gives me the freedom to dive into the essence of who I am, with every painting depicting a part of my story. Layer upon layer, it reflects a range of emotional experiences from chaos, uncertainty, and sweet nostalgia, to celebrating joie de vivre, unity, and new beginnings.
