Leopard seals are very cute and cuddly looking when you see their face looking at you but they are predators of the Antarctic and parts of the southern ocean. When you see them with their heads turned straight out, they are pretty scary looking. I like to remember when I saw them on the Antarctic ice as cute with their permanent smiley faces such as this one that I photographed in 2002. Museum wrapped. Wired and ready to hang.
