"Let's Hang Out(side)" is a permanent public art installation in southern Hamden on the Farmington Canal Trail. The Trail runs from the Mass border down through Connecticut and through New Haven to (I think) the shore of the Long Island Sound.
The concept is a living room outdoors for a bit of artistic respite. The benches and end table are to be painted in my abstract style. Two fruit trees play the roll of floor lamps. KInetic recycled art will form "wall" decor in among the trees.
As of 23 August 2023 It is still in the funding stage, having been awarded $2,000 from Hamden's unspent ARPA funds. There is a time limit so I hope they get the money to my fiscal sponsor soon!

Tax deductible donations can be made through the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, specifying my name, Patricia C Vener-Saavedra, and the project name, "Let's Hang Outside."
