Earth Waves. The South African landscape undulates like rolling waves. Early in the morning (Safari starts at 7 am), as the mist rises, the air is still but the animals are stirring. You can hear them long before you can see them - if at all. Hunting, moving about before the heat of the day. Oil on archival linen canvas.
