Faces of Midland: A Neighboring Week Reception
In collaboration with the Cultural Awareness Coalition, Captured Studios, and Live Oak Coffeehouse, we invite you to celebrate Neighboring Week (connecting neighbors) and Global Diversity Month (a celebration of culture and community) with us!
Over the past months, we’ve shared space and meaningful conversations with more than thirty of our neighbors. We’ve laughed, learned, and listened as each participant opened up about their lives, their love for Midland, and the ways neighboring has shaped them. The result is Faces of Midland—an exhibit honoring the beauty, resilience, and diversity of our community.

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and community over coffee and light refreshments. Come meet your neighbors, hear their stories, and discover why Midland is such a wonderful place—where every story matters and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
✨ The Faces of Midland display will remain up at Live Oak Coffeehouse throughout the entire month of October. Additional local artists will also have their work displayed.
