Parker Lane Art & Design Studios
Midland, Michigan
A collaborative of emerging and established artists in the Tri-Cities, MI area.
MessageI am an artist focusing mainly on historical photographic processes and printmaking. My expertise lies in wet plate collodion, cyanotype, traditional darkroom processes along with being a printmaker since adolescence.
I grew up in Mid-Michigan, and currently resides within the area with my daughter and the required studio cat. I received my Bachelors in Fine Arts from Central Michigan University. I started studying photography and printmaking in the early 2000’s. In 2015 I met my mentor Rebecca Zeiss and fell down the rabbit hole of alternative photographic processes. I have also taken workshops by Zeiss, where I learned the wet plate collodion process, as well as attending a plant based printing process workshop at Harvard University taught by Ann Eder. My cameras of choice are an old 4x5 view camera and my smartphone. I have shown in juried exhibitions across the country, most recently receiving an honorable mention along with two juror choice awards at the 2022 Annual Juried CMU Student Art Exhibition juried by d’Ann de Simone.
