Over 150 women of all ages from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Women’s Conference came together recently to paint a new mural in one of the tunnels along the East West Regional Trail.
The group was looking for a service opportunity in the community incorporating themes of light and joy. They submitted their designs, created by artists Janae Coy and Kembrie Thomas, to the Public Art Committee earlier this year for approval. Since then, they've worked with the teams at Parker Arts and Parker Parks and Recreation to bring their vision to life.
