Artist: Cynthia Clerc
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Sam Houston State University and graduate studies at LSU Art Department, I established a strong foundation in the arts. My early career involved teaching art in Louisiana, followed by a move to Boulder, Colorado, where I refined my painting skills and explored stained glass art. Returning to Texas, I paused my artistic pursuits to explore Native American art. After gaining experience in corporate America, I reignited my passion for painting. My art serves as a testament to my profound connection with the natural world and its infinite wonders. By conveying the vibrant colors, shapes, and energy of nature, I aim to inspire and captivate audiences, promoting a deeper appreciation for the natural world's richness and dynamic energy. I currently live and work in Carthage, Texas, and am a member of the Marshall Art League and the Palette of Roses Art League.
