''Belief'' is a large cast site-specific bronze leaf approximately 20 feet in width and 20 feet from the base to the tip end with a stem 20 feet in length. It was modeled from an actual cottonwood leaf and has all the surface markings of a real leaf. A rich dark green patina was applied. It lies on the ground as if it just fell from a giant tree. It is cupped and undulates gently on the edges and across the surface with the tip and stem both elevated slightly above the main body of the leaf.
