The sculpture is approximately 20 feet high by 20 feet in diameter. A small adjacent circular piece is approximately 7 feet high. The sculpture is made of aluminum sheet and structural components with a brushed satin surface.

The sculpture is located in the upper plaza area to the left of the CARE building's entrance. The sculpture can be seen from many vantage points including from inside the building, from the café and from the street.

Ribbons of aluminum wrap around each other creating a sense of movement and excitement, which is symbolic of a whirlwind of intellectual energy and inquiry. The sculpture suggests a dynamo of scientific innovation.
