STATEMENT: I began painting this Cottage series about 5 years ago in the Metro Atlanta area. These intuitive paintings were my effort to find the joy in creating again. I was in a rut. I longed to find the excitement of a small child with a new box of Crayons. To my surprise, they resonated with viewers, making the process cheerful for all.
