I have been very busy working on quilts I plan to exhibit at the 2018 Atlanta Quilt Festival. Reveal Your Joyful Self is the first one I have finished.
This quilt was started at last year’s Atlanta Quilt Festival in a class taught by Renee Flueranges-Valdes. I love Renee’s pattern and her fusible appliqué technique.

The Atlanta Quilt Festival will feature the students’ finished quilts in a special African Mask Exhibit. I am always amazed how people can interpret the same pattern so differently. It is going to be an beautiful, colorful exhibit.

I am happy with the way Reveal Your Joyful Self turned out, and I hope attendees at the Festival will enjoy it and the its message. It was custom quilted by Janece Risty, and she did an amazing job.
I hope you can come to the Opening Reception of the Atlanta Quilt Festival Sunday, August 5th from noon - 4 p.m. It will be held at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA 30349, and is free and open to the public.
