After making any new quilt, my next thought is "I wonder what this quilt would look like in red and white." That was the inspiration for Tumbling Among the Stars after I made the very colorful Floating on Sunshine and Back Yard Star Gazing.

Tumbling Among the Stars is composed of only two blocks that are red and white. I appliqued the blocks on a black background and added borders. I quilted it by hand and embellished it with yo-yo's and white star buttons.

The fabric on the back of the quilt is a black and white floral quilt. There is a hanging sleeve on the back of the quilt and a label that documents the quilt. Tumbling Among the Stars is one of a kind.
