Swimming Upstream #1 is the beginning of a new series. The quilts in this series are quilted by hand and made from luscious batiks that evoke thought of the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Like many of my quilts, Swimming Upstream #1 also features decorative buttons and inspirational words hidden in the quilt. The moral of this series is, “Life may be hard, but there is beauty all around you.”
Swimming Upstream #1 measures 16 x 31 inches. It has a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display on a curtain rod. A label on the back documents the quilt.
