"Joyful Noise" is a scrap quilt that measures 68 x 74 inches. It is a very special scrap quilt because the scraps represent over a decade of collecting Christmas fabrics. This is a quilt that one must enjoy up close and slowly so that nothing is missed. The holiday prints are offset by white strips and border. This quilt is pieced and quilted by machine and finished with a red, sparkling musical note binding. The words "Merry Christmas" are quilted into the bottom of the quilt. It has been washed to give it a heirloom texture.
The fabric on the back is an Africa fabric that is black and white with an African drums motif to continue the theme of joyful noise . There is a hanging sleeve on the back and a label that documents the quilt.
This quilt is one of a kind. I named Joyful Noise because I love Christmas, and it represents how much joy collecting fabric for my quilting has brought me over the years.
