"Bee My Honey" is a delightful sculpture featuring a bear cub reaching for a bee hive. Driven by desire who knows what result will happen due to his curiosity? Surprises surround the sculpture on all sides including some young raccoons that peer out of a hollow. Artist Colette Pitcher brings some happy wildlife critters to life for you to enjoy close up.
A life-long artist, Colette has appeared on HGTV's "That's Clever" and is the author of Watercolor Painting for Dummies and Acrylic Painting for Dummies. Inspiring and encouraging others to try art, Colette owns the Showcase Art Center in Greeley, CO. Colette's paintings and sculptures are collected around the world.
On June 25, 2021, "Bee My Honey" was featured in the Colorado Community Media 2021 Best of the Best in the Public Art Display category.
