"Your Mind is a Magic Wand", a mosaic work by Northfield-based artist Michael Sweere was one of the projects selected by the Arts and Culture Commission for the 2023 Artists on Main Street program, in partnership with The Friends of Downtown Northfield. The work was accepted into the 2023 Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Competition where it was chosen for The Minnesota Citizens for the Arts Great State of MN Award and The Minnesota State Fair Foundation First Glance Award.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund and residents of the City of Northfield through the Percent for the Arts Initiative.
