The handwritten text reads ‘To protect from constant needling’ and the typed text reads ‘Barricade.’
Cold wax is added between layers of paper to create a soft sheen, and wrinkled surface. The edges of the painting are handsewn and slightly extend over the wooden panel. Each painting is signed and ready to hang.
