A Return
This series explores nature's quiet resilience in a time of profound transformation. Inspired by the storytelling spirit of myths, dream and poetry, each piece reflects a world in flux _where imaginative skies, shifting landscapes, and solitary tree become symbol of endurance and renewal.
Through vibrant hues and atmospheric forms, the work captures moments of struggle, hope, and the fragile beauty of a world awakening to its own survival.

A Subconscious Creation
I tap into my subconscious mind to visualize what is hidden away. The hidden feelings or unknown thoughts come to surface in the form of art. I let it happen without censorship. I am free to go wild. I look at it afterwards, using brushes and palette knife, I modify and finish a few things with my conscious mind. My feelings and emotions are portrayed in these colorful orange, red and blue abstracts...It communicates! Its optimistic and uplifting nature gets people thinking and talking. These creations are so enjoyable and such a delight! I want to help the viewer find a positive outlook.
Artlessness
Experimentation is at the heart of my process and paint and color are the instruments that allow me to release the internal truth and feelings that words cannot fully express. When I enter my studio, my sancturay, I pour my heart and soul into painting and attempt to capture the experience of human emotions. I choose to work in a nonrepresentaional format, the most extreme form of abstract art that is not directly connected to visible world. In this series, I start by dripping paint on the canvas, as a nod to Jackson Pollock. Each painting, has its own movements and emotions. The abstract lines are delicate yet flowing. The tones are dramatic and contrasting. The texture is curvaceous and elongated. I aim for an organic, flowing and naturalistic composition that is asymmetrical yet balanced.
Ethnic Identity
The Ethnic Identity series explores the complexities of ethnic identity and the struggles of immigrants navigating a sense of belonging. It aims to illustrate the unique challenges of the “immigrant identity crisis.” To convey this complexity, I use bright colors, transparent watercolor, and oil to create a sense of fluidity.
There is both gravity and repression in the faces of my figures, yet I strive to make them convincing—embodying tenacity and an unwavering resolve. Many ethnic groups share histories of displacement, resilience, and the fight for recognition. Their stories, shaped by centuries of migration, cultural preservation, and struggle, are woven into this series,
One such story is that of the Kurds, an indigenous people of the Middle East with a history dating back to the 3rd millennium B.C. Like many other ethnic communities, they have maintained a distinct culture, language, and traditions despite ongoing challenges. Notably, Kurdish society has long recognized the significant role of women in governance and social affairs.
Throughout history, ethnic groups have faced varying degrees of persecution, forced assimilation, and displacement. Some, like the Kurds in Turkey, have endured state-driven oppression, while others have fought for self-determination across borders. Yet, even in the face of adversity, their resilience and cultural identity persist.
This series seeks to honor that resilience—the fluid yet enduring nature of identity, shaped by history yet ever evolving.

Gradual Destruction
My artistic series, “Gradual Destruction,” offers a poignant and abstract portrayal of the catastrophic impact that our planet faces—a crisis that our leaders have yet to fully acknowledge. These artworks serve as a profound window into another world, one where large atmospheric phenomena dominate the center of the canvas, while an arresting symbol resides off-center. The gradual shift of colors compels viewers to focus on this symbolic object, their “Beacon of Hope.”
The cool blues symbolize the fragile ecosystem in peril, besieged by the forces of destruction. Contrasting with these somber tones are vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, representing a portal into a brighter future. It’s a visual journey that invites contemplation, as we confront the dire consequences of inaction while grasping for that glimmer of optimism—a world where change is possible and hope prevails.
Shifting Seasons
“Shifting Seasons” refers to changes in the timing and duration of the seasons due to climate change. This can involve earlier springs and later autumns, altered growing seasons, human adaptation challenges, and impacts on wildlife. Overall, “Shifting Seasons” abstract paintings attempt to capture the broad and interconnected effects of climate change on the natural rhythms of the environment and human activities. These paintings are purely imaginary. I delve deep within my inner consciousness, translating my introspections into a visual dialogue with the external world, interpreting the world around me through this profound and personal lens.
The Glacial Retreat
What compels me to portray mountain glaciers with unwavering dedication? Is it their sheer existence, standing as monumental, unyielding products of processes beyond our control? Perhaps it’s the enchanting interplay of light and ice, or the captivating beauty they exude. Mountains, throughout history, have been founts of inspiration for cultures worldwide. From the lofty peaks, great poets, prophets, and philosophers have descended, carrying transformative insights. Yet, they represent more than this…
Since the late 18th century, factories, trains, cars, and ACs have emitted carbon and methane, heating the planet. Today, glaciers retreat at an unparalleled rate, surpassing 20th-century records. This glacier meltdown is our paramount challenge, dwarfing economic crises and pandemics—an incomprehensible crisis of epic proportions.
This profound urgency is what propels me to capture the essence of these natural wonders. In each stroke of my brushes and palette knives, I weave a narrative born from imagination and observation, layering colors and textures to bring forth the haunting reality of glacial retreat. As I explore this relentless transformation, I invite viewers to share in my journey, to glimpse the profound beauty of these ice-clad giants, and to confront the profound urgency of their fate.
My art seeks to bridge the gap between the awe-inspiring presence of mountain glaciers and the perilous precipice upon which they teeter. It is an invitation to engage with a world on the brink, to contemplate the fragility of our environment, and to recognize that their retreat carries consequences that ripple far beyond the ice-capped summits.
Warming Oceans
In the realm of Climate Change, the United Nations has made a sobering declaration: “The ocean has borne the brunt of the consequences of human-made global warming.” Since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, our atmosphere has seen a staggering 35% surge in carbon dioxide levels, a consequence primarily attributed to the relentless burning of fossil fuels. The oceans, acting as the Earth’s paramount carbon sink, have absorbed the excess heat stemming from greenhouse gases, bearing witness to a startling truth: 90% of the warming of the last five decades has been soaked up by these vast depths. In my art series, I’ve chosen a palette of orange, blue, white, and red to convey this pressing message. I begin by constructing layers using palette knives and brushes, carefully pouring paints onto the canvas to create horizontal lines. After each layer, I allow the painting to breathe, returning to it with a fresh perspective. I pivot the canvas, shifting my strokes in multiple directions over days or weeks until the painting’s essence emerges. Through these colors and the rhythmic process, I implore the viewer to contemplate the grave reality of global warming and its devastating consequences. Yet, I also seek to kindle a spark of hope within, a realization that we hold the power to halt the catastrophic impacts, to heal our oceans, and ultimately, our shared world.
Wildfires, Untamable Flames
My artistic series delves into the profound impact of wildfires on our ecosystems and the cataclysmic release of greenhouse gases into our fragile atmosphere. Oscillating between painstaking renderings of specific infernos and sweeping panoramic vistas, I lay bare the most emotionally charged facets of our landscapes. With an intuitive mastery of color selection and the subtleties of canvas’s response to layers upon layers of paint, I sought to convey the visceral aftermath of devastation.
In this particular theme, I allowed the canvas to guide me, transforming its surface through multiple applications of paint, as if it too had weathered the ravages of fire. My tools included palette knives and brushes, which I wielded with precision to instill depth and texture. The atmospheric perspective emerged through a subtle gradient of colors, drawing viewers into the heart of the blaze’s aftermath.
Through my artwork, I compel viewers to confront the harrowing reality of wildfires and their repercussions on our world. Yet, I also invite them to glimpse the potential for transformation and renewal, to witness the resilience of nature in the face of adversity, and to appreciate the fragile beauty of our planet.
