Words reduce reality to something the human mind can grasp, which isn't much! do you believe some combination of basic sound could ever explain who you are, or the ultimate purpose of the universe? I am exploring how to look at things without imposing verbal or mental labels (words) to it. For example, if these paintings didn't have a name or label, would it be lifeless , shallow or even better, less creative? I think not! When we don't cover up the world with words and labels, something miraculous happens, a new depth returns to our lives. This is what I would like to convey in this series. I look and look and look. I sense the Beingness of the paint, the brushes, the canvases and I silently observe everything in the studio. I let it be without any words... a sense of awe and wonder, arise within me. It silently communicate back and the reflections are what you see on these canvases.
