Equilibrium is a series in watercolor and ink, centered on the dichotomy of parallel emotions. Contrasting layers illustrate this juxtaposition. A handmade maze forms a grief grid where the only way out is the same way you came in. The rigid structures overlaid on abstract landscapes mirror the paradoxical peace one can feel when joy and grief coexist.

Independence is a series in watercolor and ink that explores facets of independence and its various meanings. 
The artworks were created along with the following words: "I don't believe those shedding blood for independence imagined a perfect nation with a slate wiped clean. I imagine they fought for the right to lead themselves, debate, fight, and honor one another. They won. We won. We are worn, distressed, and aged, but we are an independent nation."

In honor of America's 250th birthday all proceeds from the Independence series sold in 2026 will be donated to CreatiVets.
