MessageCollection: Morpheus Mosquitos
Installation Ready Made 2. Fotografische Dokumentation 3.Digitale Bildbearbeitung 4.Mixed-Media Malerei
Hybrid forms, combination of abstract organic structures and surreal fragments, fragmented tent-like bodies like a hybrid of organic material and organic parts surrounded by fine, thread-like structures ( frequencies? ). Works like dreamscapes in which elements of insect bodies, futuristic technologies and cosmic structures flow into one another. They embody transformations and metamorphoses, a central theme in my art. Morpheus Mosquitos represent transition, a sleeping or dreaming presence that may have the potential to transform into something new. The title “Morpheus” alludes to dreaming and the boundary between dream and reality, the “mosquitos” as insects do in their constant cycle of life and death. Classification in the overall artistic context: The Morpheus Mosquitos group of works embodies your central themes of transformation and space-time. Insects often symbolize change, evolution and constant transformation. Here they act as a metaphor for the constant transitions between different states of being - be it in dreams or in reality. The reference to quantum mechanical themes and hybrid art is reinforced by the blending of organic forms with almost mechanical and cosmic elements. Technique: Hybrid Mixed-Media Transformation / #HybridArt #MixedMediaProcessArt Creation and process: 1. installation Ready Made 2. photographic documentation 3. digital image processing 4. mixed-media painting Format of the digital print 20 x 15 cm Laminated on 1.8 - 2.5 mm board Mounted on paper 18 x 24 cm Framed 26 x 20 cm
