Inspired by my identity as a child of an incarcerated parent, the many who are affected by the American prison system, and the money pumped into the prison system by corporations. Furthermore, the crisis in contemporary America inspired the text on the back. Made using repurposed textiles with embroidery, appliqué, and block printing.
