Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County at the foot of Mount Tamalpais, Nicholas Tramontin grew up surrounded by towering redwoods and the timeless serenity of nature. Yet, his artistic spirit longed for the pulse of the urban landscape. As a young creative, Nicholas often found himself in trouble—not for mischief, but for choosing art over academics. During this formative time, the surf, skate, and graffiti culture began shaping a generation, inspiring him to follow the magnetic pull of Los Angeles. Trading 500-year-old redwoods for the soaring architecture of the city, he embraced a world where the fast replaced the slow, and tradition gave way to innovation.
Nicholas’s work is fueled by a passion for speed, movement, and connection. Whether riding a wave, shifting gears in a turbocharged car, or exploring the machine of the mind, these forces propel his creative journey.
