There are two layers in this work. One is a photograph of mine from the matured wetlands at Seattle's Magnuson Park, a former WWII naval air station on Lake Washington. The underlying layer is a photo of a steamroller print from a design of mine based on the wetlands photo but cut and printed as a collaborative project by printmaking students and faculty at North Seattle College. The layers were several years old when I decided that there was a dialog that could be opened by melding the two.
