Unlike many of my Overgrowths series, which combine layers from single walks or localities, this one conjoins the wilds of Seattle's Union Bay Natural Area with flowers in the Jardins des Plantes in Paris. The effect of movements that you see are, in fact, from movement. I used slow shutter and light trailing exposures and combined them with mid-exposure intentional camera movement and change of zoom length.
