‘The Weaving’ explores our relationship with the natural environment and highlights the importance of working alongside nature, in appreciation of its beauty and significance to our existence. The centrepiece details a burst of organic botanical elements arranged by human hand set against a backdrop of web-like crocheted cloth. Orb Weaver spiders spin their own webs, reclaiming the arrangement and continuing the cycle of nature and design. Natural and man-made elements are woven together and enmeshed into one.
