Artist's Point in Grand Marais has the most intriguing path to the lighthouse. In some parts you walk on top of a zig-zagging wall and in other parts, you walk on the rocks. On one side of the wall rests the giant (Lake Superior) and on the side of the wall we are looking at are these little tide pools with rocks and weeds. I painted this piece en plein air while setup near the steps to get on the wall.
