Ms. (and Mrs.) Brooks

Elaine and I have worked together since 2017. And, since March 2020 – her mother was never far-behind. Soon as things closed up, Elaine drove up to NJ and brought her mom down to PA to keep her mom safe and close at hand. I loved how when I zoomed in on the painting, sure enough Mrs. Brooks was there, obscured by the light, but present, as typical-–sewing or knitting quietly in the background.
