Lucy Høiby is a Norwegian artist, writer and poet, who splits her time between Norway and Kenya.

Born to an artist mother, she grew up in a household which allowed for her creativity to be explored through various mediums. This has allowed her to continuously experiment within several different art forms throughout her life, and she allows her intuition end emotions to guide her creative impulses. Her art is most often recognized by layered colours and textures.

Lucy herself explains her passion within her art lies in the use of colours and textures as a means to transmute her emotions through life. Whilst she hopes to invoke feelings in the viewers and to connect them with their own subconscious through her pieces, her main focus is for her creative process to function as a personal, meditative journey through her own emotional experiences and memories.
