Rønning is an award-winning author, contemporary artist and film-maker. His production company Antipode have won several awards for their documentaries, most recently an Oscar Academy Award for the category “Best documentary feature” for their film “No Other Land”.

His textbased neo-expressionistic artworks draw inspirations from artists such as Twombly, Basquiat, Schnabel, Tapies & Picabia. His works have grown a large fan base amongst collectors and art lovers in Norway and Europe.
