Where The Land Takes Us by Miriam Traher Image: On my morning walk, I was struck by my feelings of peace, the enjoyment that I have walking the same road, looking at the same fields through the seasons, through the different lights.
It’s about what the land means to me. My gardens, what I grow, my walks and my enjoyment of the same fields every day. How powerful, how expressive the land is. The details that are built upon every day, the season in and out. How the colours sit together, the organic shapes of hay bales or a blanket of snow, a glorious sunrise. It just fills me up. I am blessed I live in a land of peace and have the ability to express myself. All the memories and visions I have collected and shared with those who are interested.
