“This Is What Fun Feels Like” carries the energy of those nights where nobody is quite ready to go home yet. Conversations crossing over one another, music somewhere in the background, laughter building, little sparks of connection bouncing around the room.

The looping black lines, playful hearts, layered marks, and bursts of colour move through the painting the same way excitement moves through a really good evening — loose, alive, unexpected, and impossible to completely contain.

I wanted this piece to feel joyful, social, and fully present. The kind of fun you can actually feel in your body while it’s happening.
