Titles are random events and pick a picture as much as the viewer falls in love. I can’t say I have a direct reason for this tittle, except I was thinking of how ridiculous the flower size was to the house, my mind started to wander about, in popped Jack and The Beanstalk and voila the tittle was born. And that pretty well sums up my process in a nut shell. How I collect stories, memories, words and all my life adventures and experiences that flow through my day where they then get shuffled about, rearranged and expressed with fun and expression in my work. There is just no explaining the creative process really. It just is.
Who wouldn’t build a house at the top of a hill. It’s the best view. Jack was smart.
Back to working again with gypsum. Love the texture it creates.
