Full of fun and mischief and can't help but bring a smile. Let's go have some fun. Our mark is as personal as our thumbprint that is identifiable and unique to us. What is your mark, and what does it say about you? My individual marks are the words that I use to tell my story. What’s my story, what’s my why is the million dollar question and something I haven’t quite nailed down, and I am not sure we ever will or are supposed to “find.” This piece is not about what is seen but what is discovered and remembered. In part, it’s about the enormity of being that tomorrow, the sun will come up again, no matter what. Grass grows, even on a manicured lawn or a crack in the pavement. We are all small “things” in this world of ours. Here one minute and got the next. I believe we are all afraid to be forgotten, to not be seen, but yet afraid to be different. So we colour our hair, pierce ourselves, decorate our bodies and spray graffiti to stake a small piece of real estate in what we call life. We leave our mark behind. Outside the lines is about staking my place, one artwork at a time and connecting with others through visual language.
