This piece Miriam created from the biblical scene where Christ enters Jerusalem, but instead of Jerusalem, she uses English Village in Birmingham, Alabama as the backdrop. Most of Miriam's faith-centered works incorporate her sense of place in the city of Birmingham and how those ancient scenes might have been witnessed had they taken place in her hometown.
