Statement
My work explores the invisible threads that shape our individual and collective experiences, especially the ways in which environments, systems, and ideologies influence how we see each other and ourselves.
In a world marked by fragmentation and polarization, I use my practice to reflect on our disconnection. I approach each project as a chance to investigate not only what is seen, but also what is hidden: the unspoken, the overlooked, the denied. I’m interested in the shared field we all participate in, the collective consciousness and how it both informs and is informed by our beliefs, behaviors, and structures of power.
I care deeply about social issues and confronting the many forms of prejudice that shape our lives - racial, social, gender-based, or ideological. For me, art is a medium of remembrance: a way to reconnect with the sacred thread that runs through us all. Our differences may appear defining, but the separation they breed is often a reflection of disconnection - from love, from our own light, and from who we really are.
